maaapektuhan po ba ng resistance ng ldr yung exact na resistance sa circuit na para sa frequency?

Sir, bakit po kailangan gumamit ng transistor sa LDR?

A transistor is similar to a relay in the sense that you can use it to turn something ON and OFF. parang ginagamit siya para ma-enable yung sensor. switch kasi syaa Smile shaare haha

Very Happy

So ayun po Very Happy nabasa ko lang po sa reply , na yung transistor can act as switch daw po to turn something on and off to enable the sensor po , paano po kung hindi naman na gagamit ng sensor ? parang instead of sensor po is button na yung gagamitin ? do I still need to use transistor pa rin po ba for my circuit ? Very Happy If yes po , bakit po ? Salamat pooooo Smile

Using transistor in LDR circuit is very important po, think of a transistor of more like a current controlled resistor. Depending on the resistance of the LDR, the transitor may be viewed as either an amplifier or as a switch - and there is not a sharp transition between the two modes. When the LDR is high resistance, the base current will be low, and the collector current will be base current times the transistor's gain (beta). There will be significant voltage drop between the transistor's emitter and collector. As more light hits the LDR, its resistance will drop, allowing more base current, and thus collector current. At some point the collector current will become limited by the collector load (resistor and LED), so the transistor will be saturated, with only 0.2 volts or so between emitter and collector.
